Mission Statement

Iron Sharp is a Christian-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves greater Denver’s highest-need students and their families by forging impactful relationships with local school districts, public safety agencies, churches, and community organizations, often reaching those who are otherwise unreachable. By providing tangible resources and access to essential services, we desire to equip our communities to overcome poverty. Iron Sharp provides dynamic outreach initiatives to sharpen and strengthen communities for generations to come.

How we sharpen & strengthen children and families

  • Spiritual

    We openly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, freely give free bibles and gospel resources, partner with prayer teams, host baptisms, and help attendees plug into local bible-based churches.

  • Physical & Mental

    We partner with nutrition services, drug safety organizations, family planning non-profits, law enforcement, local governments, schools and host uplifting events with opportunities to be active and access services needed to improve mental and physical health.

  • Communal

    We strengthen our community through discipleship, leadership, and building bridges of trust with first responders, small business owners, public schools, churches, and other partners.

Economic

We partner with organizations that aid with Financial literacy, budget training, financial resources, housing resources, and professional development.

We host city-wide cleanups for immediate neighborhood improvement and environmental well being.

Meet The Team

Founder

Jordan Clark founded Iron Sharp Community Foundation in 2021 when saw the dire need across local communities. Jordan received a vision to pierce through the darkness by loving and serving in a way that leads to long term transformation. Iron Sharp brings together churches, local governments, non-profits, local businesses, public safety agencies, and others to foster this vision.  

Jordan spent over 12 years in the non-profit industry building and sustaining long-lasting community partnerships across the country. He served as Vice President of Outreach & Engagement at the Mizel Institute’s Counter Terrorism Learning Lab (The CELL) where he organized nation-wide outreach efforts. Throughout his tenure, Jordan educated hundreds of thousands of community members through the institute’s educational and anti-terrorism training initiatives.  

As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Jordan has a passion for sharing the Gospel and seeing families and communities healed, set free, and transformed by God’s victorious love. 

Together, he and his wife Vanessa are passionate about building their family, advancing the kingdom of God, and serving their local churches and community.

Season is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. Known for a keen analytical approach and leadership in driving growth and profitability, Season has a proven track record of success across multiple sectors. Season is deeply committed to social causes, particularly in the fight against human trafficking as a dedicated board member of Kaleido Incorporated.

Simon Obert

Board Member

Simon is the Senior Pastor of Church in the City-Abraham. Simon has been honored to serve in pastoral ministry in Denver for over 18 years, leading a wide variety of ministries. His heart beats for ministering to the Lord, preaching the Word, cultivating wholeness, serving the overlooked and unseen, and equipping the saints for the work of the Kingdom. Simon is passionate about creating space for the presence of God through worship, partnering with others to extend God’s kingdom, and operating in the gifts of the Spirit.

James Gutierrez

Board Member

James is the Youth Pastor and oversees outreach and evangelism at Church In The City- Beth Abraham. James has specialized in mentoring youth involved in gangs and violence for over 10 years. He has a heart to serve in the streets and throughout poverty stricken communities. James has a servants heart to help those in need through his own street ministry HSWL (Humble Servants With Love), a youth led podcast, music studio, and clothing line called HSWL (Holy Spirit Will Lead) at Church in the City.  James is the Program Director at Open Gate Prison Ministry.

Aaron Cunningham

Board Member

Aaron “Cyfë II” Cunningham is a Christian artist, creative director, and community builder based in Colorado. Through his work as a musician and creative strategist, he has generated over 7 million streams and built a growing audience centered on faith, authenticity, and cultural renewal. He currently serves as a Community Outreach and Event Coordinator at Pillar Media, which owns Denver-based Christian radio stations FLO 107.1, STAR 101.5, and KPOF 910, where he helps plan and execute events that connect churches, nonprofits, and local communities Aaron brings experience in outreach, branding, and storytelling, using art as a bridge between the Church and broader culture. His passion lies in fostering meaningful community, empowering creatives, and supporting initiatives that advance the Kingdom through service, integrity, and innovation.

Adolfo Lazcano

Board Member

Adolfo is the Lead Pastor at Iglesia Valiente, a Spanish-speaking church congregation, located in Federal Heights, CO. A former law enforcement officer, Adolfo is passionate about serving the local community and those in need through the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is passionate about discipling others and helping enhance the quality of life for those in need.

Patrick Ohlrogge is the Founding Pastor of Denver Revival Center. Pastor Patrick is passionate for the City of Denver and for people to encounter the truth, love, and hope of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
