Iron Sharp works with local school districts and numerous partners to support students and families through providing resources and opportunities throughout the summer and school year for fellowship, fun, and support.

WE are honored to partner with community municipalities and law enforcement to clean up our streets and neighborhoods. We also take every opportunity to bless our public servants and honor their work and community support.

Program Summary: Iron Sharp has been approved as a responder non-profit organization through the CarePortal platform, which is a response mechanism run by the non-profit, Beautiful Redemption, to serve vulnerable youth and families in our community. Every week, Iron Sharp will receive updates through the CarePortal system that outline various essential items needed by families in crisis across the Denver Metro Area. In order for Iron Sharp to quickly respond to and fulfill these requests, we need donations to help fund these ongoing necessities. With sufficient funding, we are able to fulfill these needed items directly, while working with city and county case workers to bring them to families. Examples of frequently requested items through the CarePortal are: car seats, mattresses, baby essentials (ie: diapers, cribs, etc), and groceries. The CarePortal is primarily used to benefit foster youth, who find themselves in new home placements without proper necessities, such as a mattress and bedding. While the exact item requested can vary, each request we fulfill costs an average of $200. By donating this amount, you are directly supporting a vulnerable child’s request for an essential item(s). 

Proposed Outcomes: 

• Immediate Support for Families in Crisis: By leveraging the CarePortal system, Iron Sharp will provide essential items to families in urgent need, ensuring that children have access to necessities such as mattresses, car seats, and baby essentials without unnecessary delays.

• Improved Stability for Foster Youth: Many foster children enter new placements without basic necessities. This program will help provide them with essential items like bedding, clothing, and hygiene products, creating a more stable and comfortable transition into their new homes.

• Reduction in Family Separation & Hardship: By meeting simple needs and providing critical resources to families in crisis, this program helps prevent unnecessary separations within kinship families, keeping children in safe and stable environments with the support they need to thrive.

• Enhanced Donor Engagement & Impact: Your support enables Iron Sharp to efficiently respond to needs as they arise, allowing donors to see the direct impact of their contributions in real-time, ultimately encouraging sustained community support for the CarePortal.
